Last night was the final night of my favorite Bourbon Street singer. Unfortunately, I never caught Keith’s family name. I just knew him by Keith. He sang in the band that played at Famous Door, a bar known for years as Hurricane City. After five years, and I’ve managed to see him throughout the five years, Keith hung it up last night.

"I don’t know what I’m going to do," he said to me, "but it’s time to do something else. I’ve got two grown daughters. I might go back to Minnesota."

He has the same tag line as my friend, Bernd:

"There are two kinds of people in the world: People who love Journey and liars."

Whatever you decide to do, Keith, I wish you the best!
